Reiki Energy develops your aura, chakras and your meridians…
Energy is omnipresent. We are energy, the objects around you, seen and unseen are energy…
Einstein pointed out an intimate link between energy with his equation E=MC2 . To practice Reiki you don’t need special paranormal gifts. All you have to understand is that energy is all around you, infinitely available to everyone and ready to be tapped with your mind through intention.
Reiki Energy is a specific form of ‘hands on’ energy healing developed in Japan, with other Reiki traditions that emerged elsewhere. A Reiki Energy practitioner channels energy from the infinite reservoir around himself and and directs it into the recipient’s energy field. Reiki Energy provides benfits similar to qi gong, pranayama, and tai chi, healing touch, some forms of bodywork and other forms of energy medicine.
What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy.” This life force energy can be defined as energy in all created matter. “Ki” is similar in thought to “chi” or “qi” in Chinese medicine, Hindu “prana” and Christian “light.” Reiki is hands-on energy healing where the practitioner serves as an open channel for transmitting the “ki” to others. The Reiki energy is channeled through the hands to the client, which activates the body’s own natural ability to heal itself. Reiki Energy goes to wherever it is needed most, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins, working to create a state of balance and harmony, and promoting relaxation and healing.
A Reiki Energy practitioner, with a centered intent to help the client achieve relaxation, reduce pain and/or anxiety, use their hands to direct healing energy. The practitioner’s intent is to support the healing process from a conscious and compassionate state. The client, to benefit, must have the willingness to receive the Reiki Energy. Light touch is used on, or above the client’s fully-clothed body while lying on a massage table or comfortable floor futon. Shoes can be removed and a blanket provided for added comfort.
